Public space of any kind is a rarity in Los Angeles (unless you consider parking garages public space), and public art even rarer. But this stylized tree sculpture in a small public square in the Sunset Plaza section of the Sunset Strip is a beautiful exception. While it doesn’t give much shade, it adds the perfect modern mood to this shopping area. I’d love to credit the artist, but my research so far has turned up nothing. Can anyone help?
