Return To Gotham
Back in the city and reunited with my camera at last, I found myself in Rockefeller Plaza looking up at the mighty “30 Rock.” Art deco images of the bravery and heroism abound, even the building itself seems to celebrate a bold and optimistic time for this city. Though most people simply refer to this building as Rockefeller Center, it was known as the RCA Building when it was built. In the 1980’s, General Electric acquired RCA, and it was rechristened the GE Building.
