If you think this window belongs on the stern of the Flying Dutchman, that’s just what the architect intended. Three of these windows adorn the front facade of the New York Yacht Club‘s 44th Street clubhouse. (Oddly enough, it was designed by the same architects as Grand Central Station.) I can’t help but wonder exactly what a yacht club does with six floors of completely landlocked clubhouse.
