New York’s underground world is so complex it’s often called a Habitrail for people. Here in the depths of the 42nd Street subway station, an escalator leads up from the 7 line platform, passing through a large open gallery that connects the 123, NRQ, and the Times Square Shuttle to the ACE. Like ants, New Yorkers navigate these complex tunnels with ease.
