Ferry Ghosts

A woman jogs by the old Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan. Built in 1909, it was once home to 17 different ferry lines. Today, only the seasonal Governor’s Island ferry calls it home. Plans have been in the works to convert the old building into a hotel and restaurant, though its current status is unclear.
